Empire Training Grounds is owned and operated by four brothers who are first responders, military veteran, and medical professionals. Every one of the owners is heavily involved in giving back to their community in which they serve. Our head instructor, Omar Sabha, is a third degree black belt with a proven record in competitive Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. However, he is always known for doing whatever it takes to help each and every one of his members in any way he can. “Do the right thing with people and good things will come”.

HEAD JIU JITSU INSTRUCTOR
Omar Sabha, who won the Pan American and Master Worlds title in 2017 has more than 15 years of
experience teaching students of every level and background, from children and hobbyists to competitive
jiu jitsu practitioner. Omar’s hard work, beliefs, discipline and attention to detail helped grow his vision
of growing his Empire gym in Orange County.

MUSTAFA SABHA
JIU JITSU INSTRUCTOR
Mustafa Sabha, who received his black belt from Omar Sabha in December, 2021, is an accomplished jiu
jitsu practitioner himself. He has won the open weight in No Gi Worlds as well as numerous medals in
several championships. Mustafa, whose background is in Engineering, is currently attending nursing
school as well as teaching full time at Empire Training Grounds.
